So my sweet friend Heather offered to throw me a baby shower. Due to having the summer off and not having made exact plans in the summer, I preferred to have it earlier in my pregnancy than later. So the best weekend happened to be the first Saturday of my summer. It ended up working out great because a lot of my co-workers were able to come. We were suppose to have a final end of the year and goodbye dinner for my boss Susie who happened to randomly get bumped due to budge cuts. But it was cancelled, so it felt kind of like an end of the year gathering for my co-workers and I. So it made a pretty good turn out. From CCSD there was: Tonya, Claudia, Adriana and her two daughters, Joni, Lourdes, Amy, Melissa and Jodie. Then from ward there was Stephanie Valdez and Rachel Anderson, then there was friends from the long last past Alexie, Kim and Lindsey. Then from my family there was Jessica, Lisa, Megan and Marie and last and not least my fun friend Karlin :) They were so generous with such great gifts. I got a boppy, monitor, bottle warmer and rack, blankets, bibs, pacifier's and many cute clothes :) It was better than Christmas. I enjoyed a baby shower a lot more than a bridal shower, it was so easy to get excited about cute little baby things, especially for a baby girl. I had many comment on what a fun and great shower it was, thanks to Heather's hard work in hosting and coordinating it. It was definitely a highlight of my summer.
