June 19, 2010. My family drove down in our family wagon, fifteen passenger van on Friday June 18, 2010 on our way to Good Night Inn San Diego. Yes, it was as nice as it sounds, maybe a one star :) We were aiming to go to Olive Garden for a little pre-wedding dinner, yet found out there was a Denny's across the street and felt it was more appropriate for where we were staying. All in attendance for my wanna be rehearsal dinner at the Classy Dennys were my whole immediate family, my mom and dad all three sisters, three brothers, two sister in laws, one brother in law, 10 nieces and nephews and a partridge in a pear tree. Then my Grandma and Grandpa Peart, my British relatives, Del and Goff, Aunt Luci and Mark, cousin Tyler and Shelly Olsen, and my good dear friends Tracy Morely and Melanie Robbins. I was able to get away with my good friends to get my last minute pampering. We had a good heart to heart and "process" me getting married. My grandpa Peart than gave me a special blessing preparing me for my wedding and marriage. It was so fun to be surrounded by all my family and loved ones and dear friends. We then went through wedding preps for the following next day's luncheon. I then joined my sisters for one last girls night out, and had heart to hearts with them. We went to bed around 11 PM. At 5 AM, I woke up, partly due to used to waking up at 5:30 for work, but more just with natural nervousness and thoughts of I was actually getting married. My aunt Jeannette and Maybeth joined me for our glamour team event promplty early in the morning to work on hair and make-up with my cute and talented sister LeNae. It was so fun, to just have family help me for my big day. They kept commenting on how calm I was, I did feel verily calm, but also was like a duck, looks all calm on top of the water, but below my feet were moving rapidly. I really did have a calmness mixed with excitement. I knew it was the right thing to do and was excited to be married and sealed to my mate. Nathan then picked me up to take me to the temple for pre-wedding pics. I was very quiet and reflective. It felt very special and peaceful. We then got our pictures taken by Andrea Filio our photographer and another friend of a friend. She did some amazing shots, as you see and please check out her galleria to see many more

So it took awhile to be approved, due to that another party took our assigned room, so we had to wait for their sealing. So we were then about an hour late starting our sealing. However it was a very special and sweet sealing, neat to see all of the faces of our loved ones. Our sealer was very sincere and gave a lot of inspiring words. I felt so at ease, calm and peaceful. We then greeted our other guests and friends outside, took a few pics then went on to The Shores, this beautiful little quaint hotel right on the beach for our luncheon. We were scheduled to eat at 2:30 and didn't eat until 4 PM, of course my wedding dinner was an hour and a half late, what else would you expect from me:) We then had a nice chicken dinner and had people who desired to say some words express them. It was very fun and sentimental. We then cut the cake, and had the first dance, then with our parents then started a two hour dance fest. It was soooo much FUN. Just the wedding party I wanted, more of a fun dancing party. We danced to songs from different era's of my life, like the songs from clubbing in Spain and the songs we always danced to at roof parties in New York. We then had the traditional bouquet toss, yes my mom was in the group, a little weird. And the garter throw. Then Nathan and I went out to the beach for some pictures with the sunset, it was so great to have such a beautiful nature venue. Our friends then started to staggerly leave, until it was just us and our families and we got last family pictures, all hot and sweaty from dancing. Then we helped clean up the the little stuff we had to, because Nathan and I ended up spending our first night at the hotel in their nice beach front room. We just didn't let the cat out of the bag until now, for obvious reasons :) It was a beautiful, magically and very happy day every moment. The best part was, I let go of the to do's and stresses of the wedding and just embraced the moment and the people who were sharing it with me.
