It was time to make a visit to my Grandma Peart or Grandma Love as we nickname her. It had been a little over a year since my grandfather passed away and I had yet made my annual visit to Randolph. Also she was excited to see Audrey and felt bad she was unable to attend her blessing (though she crocheted her a beautiful white blanket for the occasion). So my mom told me she would take us up to visit her and her sister Ranae, who is going through Kemo therapy for Breast Cancer, second sister of my mom's to be diagnoised, don't worry about it. So for Nathan's Fall Break, we were able to go and stop over at RaNae's and three of her six children happened to stop by at the same time. It's always a party with the Westons. Such a fun and solid family. RaNae has always been a great example to me of love, service and devotion. She has always been the kind of mother I hope and would like to esteem to be. My mom's family always makes fun of her kids for always being over at her house. But she just has that draw to people, you just want to be around her. So I wouldn't blame her kids and it's a compliment of the kind of person and mother she is. Needless to say we had a good time just visiting for a bit.
Then we headed up to Randolph. Roger and Tavia came up as well, so it made it a bigger party, which is always fun. They and Nathan went horseback riding and hung out at the Ranch. While I hung out with the Peart Ladies, we looked at old scrapbooks and keepsakes of my grandma and do what you always do at my grandparents, sit around and chat in the small den, that was covered with my grandpa's Knick Knacks and pictures. It made me miss my grandpa and it wasn't quite the same without him. My grandma seemed to be doing well though. She loves to be a homemaker and she's good at it, and still quite independent. I hope if I am in the same situation she is at that time of my life, I have the gumption and attitude she does to keep living her life with productivity and purpose. We then had took the opporturnity to take Four Generations Pictures. It worked out nicely to have all of us being girls. Also Audrey's middle name Maud, was named after mine which is named after my grandma's mother. So it was kind of neat :)
