Lake Powell at it's finest.

So my mom purchased a week at Lake Powell rental excursion at some charity auction that she attended last year. So we planned for the second week of August for the Lichfield Family reunion for two days, than my mom's family would join us for the rest of the week.

We were stoked. It had been three years since I have been to Lake Powell, and years, probably 8 years since my family we went. We used to go every summer when we had the houseboat, but due to being more travelers and not river rats, it turned out not being a great investment with the maintance and expenses of a houseboat. So we were excited, but nothing prepared us for the beautiful and luxurious experience we were about to embark on.

The houseboat was a beautiful 2million dollar houseboat that was owned by a well known guy in Southern Utah, with a hellicoptor pad on the top, jet skis, flat screen TV's in every of the five rooms, needless to say it was nicer than my house. It was beautiful. It was fun to have Nathan too, he loves being outdoors and being active, we had fun waterskiiing, and wake boarding, YES, I did get up :) Fun playing with the 10 grandchildren, notice one all his diet consisted of was Redvines, don't know what kind of mother would allow that, only one that works out regurlary, runs marathons, and even training for an ironman, can we see oxymoron.....

It was great times, only bummer was, we had to cut short due to a serendipitous job opportunity for Nathan that landed in his lap on the Monday we were driving to Lake Powell, so it was an offical sign of me growing up and becoming a responsible adult :(
